Welcome to our page!
Brothers and sisters you who I love with all my heart mind and strength yes I do first the Lord; I want to share with you what has come to my mind as I have studied and pondered what the Lord would have me do. I think of what King Benjamin says when he says to us do you not hear do you not see? To myself, I say these words to remind myself what I have to do, and how I have to do it; and I share them with you because what is commanded of me, is commanded of all of us hear. These thoughts come to my mind and let us not see if we can do them better. "Thus saith the Lord your Redeemer, even Jesus Christ, the Great I AM, the Savior and Light of the world: Hearken, O ye people of my Church, and open your ears to hear the voice of the Spirit which I send unto you through my servants—even the least among you who minister under the order of mine own house, through bishops, stake presidents, and the prophets and apostles whom I have set to guide you. Have ye not felt my love, even that love which caused me to bleed at every pore and trod the winepress alone? If I have so loved you, do ye not also love me? Why, then, do ye say in your hearts, ‘Suffer me first to build my barns, to lay up the wealth of the world, and when my labors are finished, then will I turn and serve the Lord’? Have ye forgotten that it is written: Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness? Do ye not see the signs of the times fulfilling round about you, even as my scriptures have declared? Ye enter into my holy house and make solemn covenants with me, yet do ye leave those promises at the door? When the world beckons with its shallow flattery and fleeting treasures, do ye say, ‘I will repent on the morrow, when the hour is convenient’? Know ye not that the day of your labor is now, while the light yet shineth? For the hour hastens when the peace of the earth shall fail, and wars and desolations shall encompass you. I speak not to condemn you, but in tenderness to plead with you: Harden not your hearts. Put not off the day of your service. Look unto me, even your Lord, your Savior, and your Redeemer; cleave unto the sacred covenants ye have made, and let me be your strength, your peace, and your eternal refuge. I hear in my mind so often the words that the Lord spoke to Thomas B Marsh and I look and I ask myself am I doing all that I can in the name of the son remember what the Lord spake in the 31st section of the doctor and Covenants let me quote down the last few verses"pray always less she entered into temptation and lose your reward be believing these are not the words of men nor of man but of me even Jesus Christ your lord..." I pray everyday that we can all seek to know the ways of the Lord and where he's going and thus go with him and I say these things Even so in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, Amen
